Terms of Service
Last updated: May 13, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Sonix ("we," "us," "our") and our mixing & mastering services (the "Services"), you ("Client," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. The Services
Sonix provides remote audio mixing, mastering, and related production services. Deliverables, turnaround times, and revision allowances are described on the relevant project page or in your written project agreement.
3. Client Responsibilities
You represent that you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and consents to the audio stems, samples, recordings, and any other materials you submit. You are responsible for clearing any third-party samples, interpolations, or performances embedded in your stems prior to submission.
4. Payment
Payment is due in full before final, watermark-free deliverables are released, unless otherwise agreed in writing. All fees are non-refundable once mix or master work has begun, except as required by law.
5. Revisions
Each project tier includes a stated number of revision rounds. Additional revisions, scope changes, or new song additions may incur additional fees at our standard rate.
6. Ownership & License
You retain all ownership rights to your underlying compositions and recordings. Upon receipt of full payment, we grant you an exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to use, distribute, and exploit the delivered mix and master files. We retain the right to reference completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
7. Turnaround & Delivery
Stated turnaround times are estimates beginning when complete, properly formatted stems are received. Delays caused by incomplete files, missing information, or client unresponsiveness are not counted toward turnaround.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the project at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, data, or goodwill.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate a project in writing. Fees for work already performed are non-refundable. We may suspend or terminate Services for breach of these Terms, abusive conduct, or non-payment.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
